I'm surprised I just heard about this. Apparently people are drawing correlations between the designs on the European Union passport and images of Baphomet. Having studied the requisite lore for some time now, it's impossible to look upon this as mere coincidence. Strange, indeed.
Posted here is a video relating to the story. I apologize for its hokeyness, but the 700 year anniversary date of 1307 is correct. And yes, Baphomet is the predecessor of the upside-down pentagram symbol.
Europe's obsession / captivation by Baphomet and its inceptors has been well documented for some time, but even I am stunned and alarmed that it has permeated this deep and this recently, and to this extent. I wonder if it will ever even be possible to determine if this was a deliberate act or merely collective subconscious acting on a large-scale level.
Frankly, I worry about Baphomet actively dwelling in the subconscious even more than I do about any possible present day worshippers of him.
